I Spit On Your Grave (2010)

*REMAKE*

Jennifer Hill, a young writer decides to rent a desolated cabin to work on her new book. When she stops by a gas station to get directions, one of the 4 dudes there approaches her. After she turns him down, he bumps into something and spills water all over himself. Embarrassed by this, he just looks at her.

When she gets to her cabin she tries to settle in. The camera shows her undressing. A few scenes later, Johnny (main dude from gas station) and his buddies let themselves in. This is where the movie really picks up.

If you’ve seen the original of this one, you know what happens to her. This remake, is a little different. Now for those who haven’t seen either, in this one, the guys make her go down on a liquor bottle, and a barrel of a gun. She manages to escape, and lucky her! She finds a cop. Yay… Oh… Never mind. He ends up taking her back to the cabin where she gets sexually assaulted, by all 5 of them. It goes from the cabin to the woods.

She manages to escape, and they search day in and day out for her. As the search continues, she makes an appearance. This time, she isn’t taking any prisoners.

“FUCK YOU.”
“You already did that… Remember?”

This is where the movie comes to life, how this chick can go after one by one and not only do them worse, but kill them in the process. This is where the remake shines, the deaths aren’t the same from the original. Now do NOT let that steer you away… The deaths were all awesome. The rape scene in this one wasn’t as bad or as long as it was in the original.

You want more info before seeing it? Two words for all of you…
SHOTGUN SODOMY.

The remake compared to the original.
Remake= no water
Remake= no church
Remake= no disposal of bodies
Remake= rape scene not as long as original. (which most might prefer)

I Spit On Your Grave aka (Day of the Woman) 1978

When this movie first came out it was banned for being such a controversial rape and revenge film. It made an another, but wider appearance in 1983.

A story of Jennifer Hills, a young writer who goes to a quiet cabin to work on a new book. As she stops by a gas station she meets Johnny, who seems to be quite thrilled to see a new face in town. She receives a deliver from the local grocery store by Matthew, who is mentally slow, and very shy.

Matthew knows Johnny and the other guys at the gas station. He claimed to have made a new friend with Jennifer. He also claimed to have seen her tits.

The following day two of the gas station buddies go and sneak around her house to get a peek. After a few days, Jennifer goes canoeing, this is when her peace and quiet go out the window, and her life changes forever.

The two dudes, on a speed boat, pull up beside her and tow her to the shore. Where she screams, and runs away. She bumps into another one, where she comes to figure out that it was a set up. Johnny tries to get Matthew to rape her first so he can lose his virginity, he just hides behind a bush.

Then you have such a long rape scene, which could explain why it was banned. Jennifer not only raped once, but a few times. They tortured her, let her escape, tortured again, let her escape, and it kept going. Til all 4 of them had a turn.

Johnny realizes she’s a witness and demands Matthew to kill her. He backs out and brings back a knife with her blood (that was on floor).

Now with her “out of the picture” they go back to their normal lives. But this is why this film is such an awesome “revenge” movie. Jennifer becomes a prowler, watching them, and she strikes so hard. One by one she gets them all! I won’t tell you how, you’ll have to see for yourself!

So if you haven’t seen this flick, and you are interested in revenge movies, please do so! If you are not a fan of rape in movies, stay away from this one. Also, this is a rating of a movie. I don’t want anyone to think that ingeinwetrust is a supporter of rape in any way. This is a horrific movie if you’re on that subject, but no one is making you watch it if you don’t want to. It’s a revenge film, a good one at that.

If you like violence, blood, and wanna see a woman take back what was hers. Watch this movie.
